Girls Night Out!!

Every month our SS has a fellowship. We've played BUNCO, gone to parades, and remember our scavenger hunt? Well, this month was for the ladies only! Our SS teachers wife, Cary Dobbs, hosted it at her fabulous house.

The theme was soups and salads, so everyone brought their favorite. We had white chili, enchilada soup, potato soup, fruit salad, tossed salad, roman noodle slaw...I took avocado salad that Zach helped me make!! It went perfect with some of soups!
There was 12 of us there. Here are a few of the lovely faces.
After dinner, some of us watched a movie, No Reservations, and some talked. Here are a few that are left after the movie. I chose to watch the movie. It was okay, but nice to sit in a comfy chair for a while!

We all had a great time getting to know one another better, laughing and eating!!
The girl sitting next to me snuck one or two pics, but no one else did! I guess none of these ladies are bloggers!!! ha!

Welcome Home Dad!

As soon as Dan walks in the door after a long day at work, this is what happens...

Poor dad? or Lucky dad! I say "Lucky dad!"

As soon as I started taking pictures, they got off! ha! The power of the camera!! ☺

Let there be light...

This weekend Dan put up some recessed lights in our living room. We only had the light of the ceiling fan and two other spotlights in front of the fireplace in the whole room. During the day, the windows give a lot of light, but at night, it was sooooo dark in there. I didn't like it at all.

We have talked about putting recessed lights in since we moved in, and the day finally arrived!

Drew loved "helping"! ☻

There is Drew. He is up in the attic looking into the living room. Sooo cute!

" Hello hand!! " ☻

The finished product is wonderful. Thanks Dan for your hard work! ♥ And a big "thank you" to my brother in law, Eddy for doing the electrical hook-up! He made it look so easy!!
It's amazing how much better the room looks with the lights to help us see. I can't help but think about how I need the Light of Jesus in my life to help me "see" correctly. ♥

Baby Ryon Brooke ♥

It's a baby Coke!! ☺
(Get it? Lindsey and Brady's last name is Coke! I thought that was pretty clever!!)

Zach meets baby Ryon! ♥ He was a little nervous about holding her, but when he did, he held her like a pro!

Look how comfy she looks in Drew's arms. ♥
And look at her pretty grandma!! aka Gigi!! ♥
Momma Lindsey is doing really well. She is a wonderful little momma and daddy loves his girls. They are a sweet, blessed family. ♥
God is soooo Good!!!
