Fun in San Angelo TX - updated

Here is a picture of the Sassy Fox. The inside was so cute with all the latest styles and trends!
However, most of the shoes were in the $70's.

Dan got the boys each an official football from the game. The fans get to keep the balls if they happen to come into the crowd! The boys were thrilled!

The boys on the field after the game. (Sorry its so dark. My flash stopped working right.)
Before the game we did some shopping at Eggemeyers in Downtown San Angelo. Check out this HUGE chime. The price was $3,300!!! WOW!

We also went to this shop across the street that was a dress boutique for women called "Sassy Fox" It had a soda fountain in it so the kids and men could grab a coke float, play checkers and watch football while the women shop. I left my camera in the car, so didn't get a shot of my boys playing checkers. :( But it was GREAT!!! I'm so thankful for my friend who gave me the information about these shops prior to our trip! Football and shopping! What a weekend.
Here is the reason we went to San Angelo in the first place. Dan is an official for arena football in San Angelo. Odessa's team already had a crew, so the next closest was San Angelo, TX (which is only 2 hours from Odessa). It was the last game, so the boys and I went to see what it was like.

Dan is farthest official in this picture.

Fun with Dogs!

Pluto loves to sit on our shoulders. We think it is the funniest thing! :) Dan thinks he is part cat.
It was time for Goldy to get her bath and Zach volunteered! We couldn't get the sprinkler off the hose, but Zach did great anyway!
Good job Zach!! You are such a helper!! I'll have to post a clean Goldy with her new collar later!
I know you can't wait!! ha :)

How do you spell disaster?

Zac and Drew had their friends down the street spend the night. They are brothers too. Here is a picture of Zac playing the Wii with them. (Zac is the one you can't really see). Jacob is the one with the pink and green on the back of his shirt. He's Zac's age (10) - but when he spends the night, it's him and Drew that stay up all night talking.
Drew's disaster of a room!!!
This is why Drew wasn't playing the video game. He could not keep his eyes open that next morning. He and Jacob stayed up all night. He was so proud! Then he slept all day!!
Dispite the mess, they all had a blast. It was worth it. Thankfully they are quiet when they stay up all night, so we can sleep! Zac doesn't even stay up all night! He needs his sleep!!
Drew was so mad he slept all day and missed the day!! He's been setting his alarm to ring every morning (thanks Drew! 7 am on a Saturday!!) so he won't miss another day! I love it!

Fathers Day Fun and Sushi

For Father's Day we got Dan a sushi making kit. So after much begging from Drew - he made us some. He used tuna and shrimp.
Yum!
Zach tried it, but wasn't too sure about it...
Drew loves to try different things and he loves shrimp!

Backing up to the last day of school!!!

Last day of school pizza party in Drew's 2nd grade class! They had already cleaned the whole room out! Desks and all!
Zac signing an autograph book! He didn't feel well, so he left early that day. :(
The younger kids got to play on the blow up slides and jumpers. Boy, that looks fun, doesn't it?
That's Zac's last day of school smile! :)
Drew and his buddies! :)

Clear bottom Kayaking in Cozumel, Mexico

Blue Coral we saw snorkeling!

Dan and Drew!
Dan's parents!!
Here we are on our clear bottom Kayak adventure. Oh yes, it looks fun and easy, but it was VERY hard! Poor Zach had to ride with me and we had a pretty bad time of it. The wind was very strong that day so we got pushed way out in the ocean pretty quick, and I wasn't really strong enough to get us back in. Thankfully, one of the guides helped us. We thought it was great that Dan's mom got to experience the adventure with us! After we finished Kayaking, (or trying to Kayak), we got to snorkel. It was such a peaceful time. I'd never been snorkeling, and I didn't think I would want to, but after a prayer for strength and peace, I went and had the time of my life. We saw a sting ray and a lobster plus a lot of beautiful, colorful fish. Zach was diving down to the bottom getting closer looks, it was such a great time. We can't wait to do it again! God is good!!

Napkin Folding

One of my favorite things I did on the cruise was went to a 'Napkin Folding" class. Each night at dinner in the dining room, we had a fancy napkin design. So they had this class to teach us how to do them.
Well, of course I forgot most of them by the time I came home and got some napkins, so I found this great website with lots of different folds and great instructions. I wanted to share it with you, incase you decide to spice up the dinner table too!
I got some really pretty colorful cloth napkins and can't wait to surprise my guys each night at dinner with a different napkin fold! www.napkinfoldingguide.com/
Happy Folding!!

We just returned home from our first cruise to the caribbean. We took a seven day cruise with Dan's family. It was heaven on earth!! We loved being with each other all seven days. There was so much to do to stay busy! I haven't had so much energy in years!!! I loved the "at sea days" and I loved the days we stopped in ports. Our stops were: Labadee, Haiti; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Georgetown, Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico. We snorkeled, kayaked, swam at the beach, shopped and just enjoyed EVERYTHING!! I loved our dinners together at 6 pm every night. The boys ate everything and loved getting lobster, steak, roasted duck, shrimp and two desserts!! God is good and we are thankful for the opportunity to go on this cruise.
Enjoy the pictures!
