Drew is 10!

We had a party for Drew at the Glow in the dark putt putt place! It was soooo fun! They had party packages and they supplied EVERYTHING! Cake, drinks, plates and all! Easy for me!
Even though I didn't make the cake, I had to get a picture with me and Drew with it! Y

The whole place was in the "dark" (under black lights so the fluorescent paint would glow). It was funny opening presents in the dark! ha

Grammy got Drew the unicycle that he wanted!! He is pretty good on that thing too!!!

And he finally got a big bike. He needed one of these really badly. But he wasn't sure if he should ask for a bike, since he was asking for a unicycle and they are both "bikes". :) We assured him having both would be okay!! ha

We can hardly believe Drew is 10. He is such a fun son. He keeps us laughing with his witty one liners! And he still loves to sit close to us when we are sitting on the couch. :)

We love you Drew!!!!! So glad you had a fun party!

Pictures from Camp and Home again!

Student Life camps have a website @ www.studentlife.com where you could go and find your kids camp, get News Updates on what they were doing and see pictures! Dan and I were so happy when we saw the boys at camp!

The director told us before they left that our church was part of the green team so that made it easier to look for our church in all the pictures! I saw a lot of green hair and hoped my boys got some!!!

Here is Drew playing Dodge Ball with some GREEN hair!!! Zach said Drew pegged him (in the face) at one point during the game! Ouch!!

Right on time, the bus drove up to the church! Dan and I were so excited to see the boys and hear how they liked camp!

They both liked it, however I think Zach might have liked it better. Drew might still be a little young for all the sitting and listening things....
Zach said camp was "Awesome"!! He met alot of new friends too! Zach came home with a touch of a cold. :( Nothing a little TLC won't help!!

Welcome home boys!! We missed you and the noise, um, I mean JOY you bring! :)

Camp!

Bright (well, it's not too bright at 5:55 am) and early Thursday morning (the 9th) we took the boys to the church parking lot to load them up for church camp! Here is a picture of their charter bus!

The boys are in the second to the last seat. They got to be one of the first kids to pick their seat on the bus since I signed them up for camp early! It really was a treat to be one of the first on the bus!!!

There camp is in Sherman Texas at Austin College! They were pretty excited about going and staying at the college campus! It was a loooooooong ride for them though. 7 hours!

There goes the bus!!! Have fun boys!!!! We will miss you!!!

(and we have missed them, but Dan and I are enjoying ourselves too!!! Breaks are always a treat!!) :)

**I have such great memories of the church camp I use to go to growing up! I want the boys to have the same great memories of summer camp! WooHoo!!!

The 4th @ the lake

Dan's sister invited us to their new lake house for the 4th. So off to Brownwood TX we went.

We got there just in time to do a little dusk fishing and then hopped on their boat to watch the fireworks!!

We all took turns jumping off the 14 ft dock! It was SCARY!!!

Dan and I took a leisurely ride!! You can tell who did most of the work on this ride! Y

Dan took the boys out of the canoe and Zach caught this gorgeous bass! It was the biggest catch yet! Way to go Zach!

Drew even caught some!!

After all the fun, a little rest was in order!

We had a great 4th with the family at the lake. A big shout out to Tia and Eddy for being wonderful hosts and for sharing the fun with us!!
